Meet Our Founder
Philippe Kamoun, Founder & Leading Housing Specialist
My name is Philippe Kamoun. I was born and raised in North Holland. At eleven, I moved to Amsterdam with my parents, who opened a restaurant at Overtoom 306 – later home to Bagels & Beans. That marked the start of my journey in real estate.​​​​​​​​​​​
From a young age, I worked hands-on in renovations – learning plumbing, electrical work, and plastering. Over time, I began managing lettings, screening tenants, and overseeing property transactions as our family portfolio grew.
After an early career at PricewaterhouseCoopers, I returned to real estate, eventually managing a large Dutch property portfolio with international stakeholders and founding my own firm, MNL International.
Now, after decades in the field, I’ve launched HomeQuest – a personal project born out of frustration with the struggling Dutch housing market, where traditional services often fall short. Backed by deep experience, a strong network, and a hands-on approach, I help clients find the right homes – efficiently and with care."
